Cambridgeshire Field Trial Society 2 Day Open Retriever Trial, 6th & 7th November 2016.

Sue Stonebridge FT Sec reports:

The Cambridgeshire Field Trial Society, held their 2017 Open stake at Ampton Estate by kind invitation of Peter Rushbrook Esq. The steward of the beat was Alan Hammond who along with his team gave us two days with plenty of game.
I would like to thank Roger Skinner Ltd, our sponsors who generously support our trials.
My grateful thanks go to our judges, Mr Steve Ellis (A672), Mr Robin Watson (A2394), Mrs Sam Morley-Riches (B3104) and Mr Tom Lowe (B3187). I was grateful to them all for giving their time to ensure our trail was a very successful one. I was so pleased that Robin Watson could combine a trip home from his current base in the USA to be one of our judges.
Our guns who shot exceptionally well, and whose banter with Alan Hammond was superb, were Mr Gino Grilli, Mr Ian Carpenter, Mr Brian Chesser, Mr Nigel Reed, Mr Mike Tallamy and Mr Geoff Allen.
I must also thank all of those who came along to help: Andy Cooper, Arthur Cook, Bob Babel, Steve Bancroft, Abbie Crawley, Jean Hoskins, the stalwart Tracey Chesser, Lindsay Hudson, Alistair Ford, and the lovely Rachael Watson. And finally Mark Bettison who carried the red flag.

Our field trials are sponsored by Roger Skinner's Limited
